| In game 4 of the 2003 World Series the Yankees had been down for most of the game until the top of the 9th inning. With runners on base Ruben Sierra came to the plate and smash a game tying triple down the right field foul line at Pro Player Stadium. The Yankees would not score again, and the score would remain tied until Alex Gonzalez of the Florida Marlins would hit a game winning home run in the bottom of the 12th inning. . |
